Numerology: Life around Numbers

Numerology is a system of numbers, which when followed in according to certain agreed principles of Indian astrology, becomes an effective tool of astrology. In general, one can find numbers in every slice of life, and in fact in life as a whole. From the time, one born to the time one dies, s/he remains attached with numbers, on one or the other form. As a tool of astrology, numerology studies, evaluates, and draws of the possible impact of numbers on the overall life of a person, as well as on certain aspects of life. This practice of numerology is dynamic since the time of mountains. In its long age, numerology has grown by leaps and bounds. In the present time, numerology has grown up to a state where it is not only extremely popular, but is also a reliable and upright means of astrology in which many people highly believe. Apart from general classifications, Indian Astrology classifies numbers in numerology into three special classifications- psychic number, destiny number, and name number. Psychic Number Numerology

In Indian numerology system, psychic number, as the name goes represents for the psychic attributes of an individual. Psychic number is an expression of aptitudes, abilities, nature, and personality of an individual. Psychic number is derived by the date of the birth of a person. The digits of the birth date of the person are added up to derive psychic number. Example- If a person is born on 15^th March, 1979, then his psychic number is 6 (1 + 5). It is believed that it is around the age of around 35 years, till when psychic number holds an enormous impact and significance over one’s life. After that, psychic number starts losing its significance, and destiny number starts gaining its impact over the life of a person and its different aspects.

Destiny Number Numerology

In Indian numerology, destiny number, as the name goes defines the destiny and Samskaras of a person. Destiny number represents for the Karmas and past deeds of one’s soul. It is also a reflection of the outlook with which others look towards a person. Numerology system believes that destiny number gains utmost significance and impact during the life period of a person when he is in between the ages of 35 to 40 years. The digits of the birth date of a person, along with the digits of the month and year of the birth are added to get destiny number. Example- If a person if born on 15^th March, 1979, then his destiny number is 8(1 + 5 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 7 + 9, i.e. 35, which is 3 + 5).

Name Number Numerology

In Indian numerology, name number defines one’s relationships in life. It is a figure of the associations and nature of relationships which one is bound to share in his/her life. Name number is considered to be of significant influence, as name is an inseparable identity of a person, which remains intact to a person all through his life. Name number, as on the first instance suggests, is derived from the name of a person. Those with more than one name can have more than one name number. However, unlike destiny number or psychic number of numerology principle, destiny number ids difficult to draw. Apart from the alphabets of the name, name number also depends on the sound frequencies and sound waves created out of the name of a person.

Sometimes, out of lack of awareness, people randomly choose the name of a newborn in the family, which later results in misfortunate events in the life of that person. Therefore, it is always suggested to choose a name which goes with the planetary combinations and rules of Indian Numerology. However, in a situation where one has already entered into an old age with a name which is brining bad luck to one’s life, then suitable alterations and modifications within the existing name (if possible) can bring the luck in favor. This aspect of name numerology has been heartily adopted by those with an incorrect name number, and with that they have found luck in their favor.
